what did we peruse: codes combine

on monday while scanning pages of nylon korea i came across this ad for a korean clothing company called codes combines with some fairly eye catching outfits (in my opinion) and while their site is pretty cool looking and appears easy to browse...very few links actually generate images on the screen. (hence screenshots of their intro images)
it's a strange thing.

but what i could find looks pretty good to me.

what did we wear: ROYAL ASCOT

today i was asked to research photos of men dressed to the nines at the derby so i began to hunt for images and remembering the infamous royal ascot scenes of "my fair lady," immediately typed in "royal ascot" and was treated to a wonderful variety and number of gorgeous shots and gorgeous outfits. the hats? they're brilliant.

today's outfit: grey delia's tshirt + UO urban renewal grey striped skirt + dark blue H+M cardigan + scarf i picked up off a chicago sidewalk

what did we purchase: NEUTRALS

adventures in neutrals at h+m with charis in the dressing room

own: grey stirrup tights, black flipflops
tried on: white t-shirt with pocket, black tank top with pocket
purchased: white tshirt + black version, black tank top, white scarf, black scarf, white bag

notice a trend? it's ok. my cousin, (23 years my senior) who is an interior designer in taiwan, says most artists and designers tend towards blacks, whites, greys...etc. and that it makes sense. so i'm going to run with it.
