series of untitled film stills (she posed and created about 70) with the intention of exposing and discussing - bringing up the topic of - cliche views of women and femininity in society. there is debate as to whether her work actually reinforces these stereotypes and ideas rather than productively critiques and inspects them. i think the photographs are gorgeous and the black and white contrasts with the greytones so well composed and so effective at drawing the viewer in.
